Földtudományos Forgatag 2026
Beharangozó
A Magyarhoni Földtani Társulat évtizedes hagyományra visszatekintő Földtudományos
forgatag c. rendezvényének célja, hogy felhívja a figyelmet a földtudományok
megkerülhetetlen szerepére a modern társadalmak életében.
A geofizikusok manapság milyen műszerekkel
néznek be a Föld belsejébe?
A jelenléttel megszervezendő interaktív geo-kiállításon bemutatkoznak a földtudományi
be a résztvevők.
A rendezvényen hagyományosan 30-40 „geo-kiállító” mutatja be tevékenységét.
The Geo-Expo aims to draw attention to the indispensable role of the geosciences in modern
society. The programme is organised by the Hungarian Geological Society. The interactive,
involving educational event raising interesting questions such as: How does a modern
geologist work? Do the ever-growing range of new devices and technologies help
palaeontologists or mineral collectors in their work? What instruments do geophysicists use
today to explore the Earth’s interior? How can traces of climate change be read from the
pages of sedimentary rocks? And what will be next year’s Mineral of the Year and Fossil of
the Year?
The interactive geo-exhibition, organised as an in-person event, brings together Hungarian
research institutes, natural history collections, higher education institutions and companies
involved in geoscientific research and related activities. Our national parks and geoparks
introduce some of the country’s most spectacular geological sites and recommend geotours
for the visitors. Our organisation is comitted to lifelong learning thus all generation can find
interesting programes: A wide range of interactive geoscience programmes awaits younger
visitors, while the elder generations can attend educational films and lectures, they can
directly contact the spetialists. Visitors can also explore the mysteries of the Universe through
the dome of the Travelling Planetarium.
Traditionally, the event brings together 30–40 “geo-exhibitors”, each presenting their
activities, research and work to the public.
